The prestigious prize, achieved against stiff opposition, recognised that National Freelancers Day (NFD) had been hugely successful in showcasing the role of freelancers in the UK economy. An effective PR and marketing campaign based around a rich agenda of live and virtual activities reached an impressive 6.5 million people.
